Smaller paintings would cost less, however, miniatures (with dimensions 8" and smaller) would be more difficult and priced accordingly. Larger paintings, logically will cost more. Double (or more) portraits that include more than one pet per painting would likely be priced higher though not quite doubled the average fee for any chosen size.
A minimum of one half of the commission fee is required before the painting is started.
To give you an idea how well my service would fit within your budget, listed below are some guidelines for my fees:
Portraits are painted on professionally prepared wood surfaces. They are wired and ready to hang unframed with edges of the surface painted a plain white. Surfaces are often 1.5" to 2" deep, box-like, and can easily be framed if the buyer chooses to do so on their own.
some standard prices:
with dimensions between 8" and 14" = $450.00
with dimensions between 12" and 20" = $600.00
with dimensions between 18" and 30"+ = $800.00
